I don’t often like to think about the broken road that brought us to our church, but I’m so thankful that it lead there. It’s been about three years since Jonah and I attended the Go Fish concert that brought us to Stones. We hung back for nearly two years, just listening, afraid to get too comfortable, afraid to invest. But God has a way of bringing you to the place you need the most,… even if you’re a reluctant traveler. I’m so grateful for our pastor, Scott Luck, who humbly teaches from God’s Word each week, urging us to go “all in”. And the evening MOPS group has been an answer to a prayer 13+ parenting years in the making! God’s blessed us with our small group and so many new friends who embrace the “real” in life and who offer encouragement and support and laughs. So, for all of these reasons, and many, many more, I’m thankful for our church home.
